Counseling

 

Counseling services are offered at Barber Hill Health and Wellness by Maria who is a licensed social worker. Some of the issues Maria typically addresses in therapy include adoption, attachment disorder, autism, behavior management, developmental delays, family dynamics, grief, parenting skills and post traumatic stress disorder. She is trained in a wide variety of techniques including play therapy, EMDR, DIR, ABA, behavior management, sensory integration and others!

Creative outlets

A creative outlet can be integral to a healthy lifestyle. At Barber Hill Health and Wellness Center we have a small art gallery. We are in the process of developing health-related workshops that integrate the mind and body in creative ways. Regular art and drawing classes are offered. Private art lessons are available on request. Please call or email us for a listing of current offerings.
